Before the upcoming tours in France and the United States, the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia will perform in Yerevan with the concert program “Musical Spectacular” featuring exclusively works by Armenian composers under the direction of conductor Sipan Olah. 

The concert is dedicated to the 145th anniversary of the renowned Armenian painter Martiros Saryan. Alongside the music, the audience will also enjoy Saryan’s unique artistic world through an exhibition of replicas of his paintings.

On September 20, at 7:00 PM, the Yerevan State Chamber Choir will present a concert titled "This Night, Autumn Night" at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall, dedicated to the independence of Armenia.

The evening will feature arrangements of traditional folk songs by Komitas, Hayrik Muradyan and contemporary arrangements by Vahagn Babloyan.

The concert will be conducted by the choir’s Artistic Director and Conductor, Kristina Voskanyan.

On September 23 at 19:00, the “Hover” State Chamber Choir and the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory invite you to the Komitas Chamber Music Hall for a special concert celebrating the 95th anniversary of the great Armenian composer, Edgar Hovhannisyan — Honored Art Worker of the Armenian SSR, People’s Artist of the Armenian SSR and the USSR.

The program will include Hovhannisyan’s Piano Quintet, Sonata–Epitaph for Cello and Piano, Piano Preludes, and a selection of choral works.

Performers: students of the Yerevan State Conservatory’s String and Piano Departments, the “Komitas” Choir (Choirmaster: Gayane Sahakyan), and the “Hover” State Chamber Choir (Choirmaster: Sona Hovhannisyan).

On October 1, at 19:00 at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall, a solo concert of the Titular organist of Notre-Dame de Paris (France) Vincent Dubois will take place, as part of the Third International Vahagn Stamboltsyan Organ Festival.

Recognized as one of the most brilliant organists on the international scene, Vincent Dubois leads an intensive concert career and performs throughout the world. He has been invited as soloist by many prestigious orchestras, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Philharmonic, the Dallas Symphony, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio-France, the Orchestre National de France and the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris, the Orquestra Filarmonica del Gran Canaria, the Orchestre National d'Ile de France and the Basel Sinfonieorchester, and numerous international festivals such as Vancouver, Budapest, Stuttgart, Montreal, Cambridge, Lisbon, Ottawa, Dresden, Merseburg, Roskilde.
