Within the framework of the general international events of International Jazz Day, on April 29 at 19:00, the Karen Grigoryan Quartet will hold a concert at the Komitas Chamber Music Hall, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the world-famous jazz pianist, composer and businessman of Armenian descent Avo Uvezian.

About Pedro Rodrigues
Winner of the Artist’s International Auditions (New York), the Concorso Sor (Rome) and the Prémio Jovens Músicos, as well as a laureate of over twenty competitions including Salieri-Zinetti, Paris, Montélimar, Valencia, and Sernancelhe, Pedro Rodrigues is an Associate Professor at the University of Aveiro, an Integrated Researcher at INET-md, Director of the Master’s in Music program, Artistic Director of the UA Autumn Festivals, and a member of the UA General Council. He has performed as a soloist in many internationally renowned, and has premiered over 60 works by contemporary composers. His discography includes 19 titles. He is regularly invited to teach masterclasses at universities across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia.
